Do you know what Botox is or do you just THINK you know?

botox

I notice quite a few people posting who think botox is like collagen, but it is nothing like collagen.

Botox is injected into the muscles to prevent them from contracting, so the person cannot frown or raise their eyebrows, etc. This reduces the appearance of wrinkles caused by frowning, etc and makes the skin look smoother.

Unlike collagen, botox is not a filler and can’t plump up your skin or lips. All it does it prevent muscle contractions.

Now did you realise these two products were different or did you just think they did the same thing?
Despite what you may have heard, Botox is pretty safe in the right hands. It is also used for other medical purposes such as treating the early stages of cerebal palsy, MS and to prevent excessive perspiration of the palms and armpits.

If Botox was that dangerous, the FDA would have banned it long ago.
Thank you for pointing that out Richard, but I obviously wasn’t referring to you!
